As Much As is a handmade and hand-sewn artist book, with words and photographs by Joni Sternbach. This journal-style book weaves the story of a young artist, exploring identity, youth and coming of age whilst learning to be a photographer, set against the backdrop of New York City in the 1970s. This series offers a deeply personal insight into the history of this artist, as well as a nostalgic ode to the people, places and experiences that shaped Sternbach's identity and artistic voice, define both her past and her present.
